Can I really practice any accent on one account?
Yes — AnyAccent treats accent as a setting, not a separate course. Practice American English today, switch to British or Australian tomorrow; switch from Brazilian to European Portuguese mid-week. Every tier includes every accent, so you can practice any accent we support without paying extra.
Which accents can I practice with AnyAccent?
AnyAccent ships a curated set of accents for each of its 33 languages: American, British, Australian, Canadian, and Indian English; Brazilian and European Portuguese; Mexican and Castilian Spanish; Mandarin, Cantonese, and Taiwan Mandarin; and many more. See the accent showcase on the home page for the full list.
How does AnyAccent score any accent I pick?
Each sentence runs through a neural pronunciation engine tuned to the accent you picked — American /r/ is scored differently from British /r/, Brazilian nasal vowels differently from European ones. You get phoneme-level scores in IPA plus four overall axes (accuracy, fluency, completeness, prosody), so feedback is specific to the accent, not a generic baseline.
Is it possible to master any accent without a human tutor?
Mastering an accent isn't about sounding native — it's about being understood. AnyAccent gives the feedback loop a tutor would: which phoneme landed wrong, what your mouth did instead, and what to try next. Most learners see noticeable improvement on a target accent within 2–4 weeks of daily 3-minute drills.
Do I need a separate subscription for each accent?
No. One subscription covers any accent in any of the 33 languages we support. We deliberately don't paywall accent — accent is a setting, not a product.
How long does a practice session take?
About three minutes — one sentence, one phoneme analysis, one targeted retry on the sounds that missed. No daily streak, no notifications, no leaderboard. Short sessions add up; you can fit one between meetings.
